PARENTS' MEETING

Hey folks,
I hope you're having a great week!

Just wanted to invite you all to our annual Fall Parents' Meeting!  This is an exciting to connect with each other and learn about what's going on with your kids.  I know many of you teach and attend other classes, but for this week only (Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9:30 am), if you could possibly make arrangements to be there, you'll be glad you did.  Among other things, we'll be discussing our upcoming purity class and handing out to you the books we will be using in that class.

So, PLEASE make plans to be there!  You will be glad you did!

Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE!

UPDATE:  Last night was a smashing success!  Well over 300 teens came and worshiped with us!  THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED!!!  Check out the pictures below!

I am proud to say that we will be hosting our first Sunday Night Live this Sunday night, October 9, for area teens numbering between 300 and 400!  We will also be welcoming acclaimed Harding drama troupe, THEATRON to Robinson Avenue to perform some powerful skits for us that night.  Our theme will be "To live is Christ, and to die is gain".  Teens from churches all across NWA will be joining us that night for worship, fellowship, and an amazing time honoring God and uplifting each other.  This will be in the Family Center from 6:00 to 8:00 pm this Sunday, and all youth group ages (Jr and Sr High) will are invited, and feel free to bring friends!  It's gonna be an amazing night!

LABOR OF LOVE: LOL

This is an idea that we're REALLY excited about!  We're going to live out what we talk about one Wednesday night a month and go out and love and serve somebody who needs it.  We're going to begin with Mr. Dub Deloach.  As many of you know, he served Robinson Ave as education minister for many years and has developed Parkinson's disease.  It's time to show him some love so here's what we're gonna do.  Keith Whitehead is going to drive a bus and we're going to go to his house tomorrow night during service time, and uplift him by singing in his yard.  (Picture Christmas caroling without the Christmas part.)  He has a comfortable spot on the front porch set aside to sit in. Any of you that would like to join us are more than welcome!

BOTTOM LINE:
  • We'll leave as close to 7:00 as possible, so PLEASE help make sure everybody is on time!
  • All youth group ages are in on this! (7th-12th)
  • We'll be back as close to 8:00 as we possibly can!
  • We'll all get a complimentary LOL (Labor of Love) T-shirt that we'll wear every time we do things like this!
Thank you for your support on this!  We're going to live out Jesus!
