GVBC REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Green Valley registration is now open!  Go to www.greenvalleybiblecamp.com any time or CLICK HERE to go directly to the registration page.   Scroll down to the bottom of the registration page and look for week 9 (July 29 - August 4) for overnighters, and WEEK 4 (July 30 - August 2) for Day Campers.  Day Camp is for kids who have finished 1st grade up through age 10, and overnight is for age 11 up through those having just graduated high school.

2 NOTES:  This year, registration is ONLINE ONLY, so let's all go ahead and register on the website.  Also, the cost is $100 for overnighters and $50 for Day Campers this year.

SR HIGH SPRING RETREAT!!

There's just nothing like getting away for a few days to focus on our relationships with God and each other!  That's what makes retreats like this one so memorable, powerful, and amazing!  DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE TO BE PART OF THIS!  Sign ups are posted on the sign up board, so SIGN UP TODAY!!

WHO?  RAVE Sr. High teens (9th - 12th)

WHAT?  A time to get away for the weekend to dig, worship, share our the highs and lows of our lives, and strengthen our relationships with God and each other.  Much of this retreat will be STUDENT LEAD, so it should be a VERY special weekend.  (We will also be able to canoe and paddle boat on beautiful Lake Fort Smith!)

WHEN?  May 11-13  (We WILL be back by morning church on that Sunday, since it's Mothers' Day)

WHERE?  Lake Fort Smith State Park (about an hour south of Springdale)

HOW MUCH?  The cost for this retreat will be only $40, all inclusive, due on APRIL 8

ANOTHER NOTE:  We will be converting the what had been the Sr High Fall Retreat into an all-ages thing, and moving it to SEPTEMBER, so we'll have a Jr High Retreat in November, Sr High Retreat in May, and an All Ages Retreat in September.

SIGN UPS OPEN FOR SR HIGH MISSION TRIP TO CAMP WETOGA!!

Time to get the sign ups going for WETOGA 2012!  This is an experience like NONE OTHER, folks.  There is a reason we're going back for a 4th year.  Relationships have been formed and we have fallen in love with these kids.  I came to the realization this past week that we have known some of these kids over half their lives.  That's some pretty powerful stuff..

Here are the basics.

WHO?  RAVE Sr High teens (completed 9th-12th)

WHAT?  A bible camp for Atlanta Inner City kids, at which we are the staff.  Each of our teens is assigned one, possibly two, of the kids for the entire week, to whom they show the love of Jesus in countless ways.  (Parents who join us staff the kitchen, teach classes, watch for our teens, etc.)  

WHEN? July 21-27, 2012

WHERE?  Camp Wetoga is located outside Atlanta, GA

HOW MUCH?  Total cost is $100, with a $50 deposit due on June 3, balance due on July 8.  This includes everything but a few meals on the road.

SIGN UPS OPEN FOR UPLIFT 2012!

The time has come to start signing up for SUMMER 2012 STUFF!!  One of these is of course UPLIFT 2012, so here are the basics.  Sign ups are at the end of the hall near my office, and we need to go ahead and do this so we don't miss the price break deadline!  SIGN UP TODAY!!

WHO?  All RAVE teens, 7th - 12th Grades, and parents!
WHAT?  Uplift is a 5 day camp at Harding University where we gather with over 1000 other teens to worship, bond, learn, and grow together.  There are amazing speakers, classes, drama, and worship leaders.  This is one NOT to miss!
WHEN?  June 16-21, 2012
WHERE?  Harding University in Searcy, AR
HOW MUCH?  Total cost is $100 (and that's for EVERYTHING)
DEADLINE?  There is a $25 deposit due on APRIL 22

OWLS' Banquet

It's time again to honor our Older Wiser Loving Seniors with a banquet for Valentines day!  We really need everyone to come out and help with this night.  Some of you may have already been contacted to help in various area, and if so, THANK YOU, but for all others, please help us bring all of our teens together Wednesday night to help serve our OWLS!  They deserve a night of honor and respect!

WHO?  All RAVE teens

WHAT?  A night to serve our OWLS with a dinner served by the teens

WHEN?  This Wednesday at 5:30 (teens need to be there by 5 to help set up and get ready)

WHERE?  In the family center at Rob Ave

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE

Sunday Night Live is this Sunday!  We have ALWAYS had a blast at SNL's so PLEASE PLEASE encourage your teens to come this week!  It's in Fayetteville, so we'll be home in plenty of time!  Here are the details..

WHO?  All RAVE teens, Jr High and Sr High
WHAT?  A gathering of NWA teens to worship, learn, grow, and have a meal together (and a GREAT time on the bus on the way there and back!)
WHEN?  This Sunday night, Feb 12.  We'll meet and leave on the bus at 5:30 and be back by around 8:15.  (The event itself runs from 6-8)
WHERE?  Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville
WHAT DO I BRING? Your bible and a friend!
