GIRLS' NIGHT!!

Becca has been working hard on this one too!  We'll have a girls night for all RAVE GIRLS on Sunday night, overnight, from after church till morning!  Movies, girly time, making a dessert from Pinterest, hanging out and having a good time together!

Here are the basics:

WHO?  RAVE GIRLS!!  Becca and Neely will both be there!
WHAT?  A girls sleepover 

WHEN?  After church on Sunday night, July 8 until around 10:00 am on Monday, July 9

WHERE?  The PLESS house

WHAT DO I BRING?  Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, money for a fast food dinner on the way to the Plesses

PARENTS NIGHT OUT!!

Yeah parents, this one is for you!  Becca and Nate have worked hard on this one.  It was their brainchild.  Here's the skinny..

We're planning a night of free babysitting so parents can go out for a date, or stay and have a quiet evening off the clock.  So we need all hands on deck to make this happen for the parents!

WHO?  All RAVE teens
WHAT?  A night of free babysitting for Rob Ave parents
WHEN?  July 13 from 6 pm to 9 pm, TEENS NEED TO GET THERE AT 5!!
WHERE?  Rob Ave gym and teen hall
WHAT DO I BRING?  A can-do attitude and a little elbow grease

THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE FOR OUR TEENS TO SERVE!  It's gonna be a great time!

This Sunday night we'll be having a devotional (this is small group Sunday, so we'll just basically all meet together at the Hudgeons' house) after church!  We'll gather up, have some snacks, worship together and hear from a special guest from Mount Comfort who's got some awesome stories to tell!  Don't miss it!

WELCOME 7th GRADERS!!!

KIDNAPPING: SUCCESS!!

The pictures couldn't possibly sum up all that the night held for RAVErs of all ages this past week.  We put on our sneaky faces, and kidnapped all but one of our upcoming 7th graders to welcome them into the group.  Lots of RAVErs came out to help usher these guys into this new era in their spiritual lives!  We had more s'mores than we could handle, watching Shelby and Abby scream at a the sight of a frog, and the best worship you could imagine.  7th Graders, we love you guys and we're so glad you're here!  We can't wait to watch you all grow in our Lord!

RAVE FAMILY NIGHT AT LOKOMOTION!!

RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, MAY 20

Spring is here folks, and it's time to start getting outside!  Let's kick off the glorious NWA get-outside-season by having a BLAST at LOKOMOTION!  Here are the basics:

WHO?  All RAVE teens (Jr High AND Sr High) and their families!
WHAT?  Lokomotion has GO-KARTS, LASER TAG, BOAT RIDES, MINI-GOLF, ARCADE and MORE!
WHEN?  Sunday, April 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
WHERE?  It's just across the Fayetteville city limits at 4520 N College Ave. Fayetteville, AR 72703
HOW MUCH?  $20 gets you UNLIMITED all-you-can-play for the entire 2 hours!  (If you don't wanna be there the entire time, or don't wanna do the unlimited deal, you can pick and choose for a better price!)

AGAIN, WE REALLY WANT FAMILIES TO COME JOIN IN THE FUN, SO PLAN ON BEING THERE!!

Green Valley registration is now open!  Go to www.greenvalleybiblecamp.com any time or CLICK HERE to go directly to the registration page.   Scroll down to the bottom of the registration page and look for week 9 (July 29 - August 4) for overnighters, and WEEK 4 (July 30 - August 2) for Day Campers.  Day Camp is for kids who have finished 1st grade up through age 10, and overnight is for age 11 up through those having just graduated high school.

2 NOTES:  This year, registration is ONLINE ONLY, so let's all go ahead and register on the website.  Also, the cost is $100 for overnighters and $50 for Day Campers this year.

SR HIGH SPRING RETREAT!!

There's just nothing like getting away for a few days to focus on our relationships with God and each other!  That's what makes retreats like this one so memorable, powerful, and amazing!  DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE TO BE PART OF THIS!  Sign ups are posted on the sign up board, so SIGN UP TODAY!!

WHO?  RAVE Sr. High teens (9th - 12th)

WHAT?  A time to get away for the weekend to dig, worship, share our the highs and lows of our lives, and strengthen our relationships with God and each other.  Much of this retreat will be STUDENT LEAD, so it should be a VERY special weekend.  (We will also be able to canoe and paddle boat on beautiful Lake Fort Smith!)

WHEN?  May 11-13  (We WILL be back by morning church on that Sunday, since it's Mothers' Day)

WHERE?  Lake Fort Smith State Park (about an hour south of Springdale)

HOW MUCH?  The cost for this retreat will be only $40, all inclusive, due on APRIL 8

ANOTHER NOTE:  We will be converting the what had been the Sr High Fall Retreat into an all-ages thing, and moving it to SEPTEMBER, so we'll have a Jr High Retreat in November, Sr High Retreat in May, and an All Ages Retreat in September.
